Welcome to the Sparkle Strong Foundation, where every heartbeat matters. We support children and families during extended CICU stays through comfort, resources and connection. Our goal is to remind families they are not alone and provide support when they need it most. Thank you for being part of our mission.
What We Do
Sparkle Strong supports families during their child’s CICU stay. We know firsthand how overwhelming those days can be. Our hope is that we bring a little joy, strength and support to heart families during these uncertain and trying days.
We provide Sparkle Strong Survival Kits to inpatient families packed with care, comfort and reminders that they are not alone. We also celebrate every CICU milestone with Jewels Joyboxes, named for our inspiration. These CICU celebration packs are carefully curated for each joyful moment. We offer guidance and tools for fundraising and connect families with trusted resources, links and other foundations that can help lighten their load.
Because we’ve lived this journey—as a heart warrior family, as a foster home, and as a single-parent household—we understand the unique struggles often overlooked. That’s why we’re passionate about supporting foster parents, who face complex medical systems with limited access or voice and uplifting single parents who need someone steady in their corner.
We also center the often-silent stories of siblings, creating space and support so that no child fades into the background in addition to providing Sibling Survival Kits.
Sparkle Strong is about more than survival, it’s about building a community of care where families feel comforted, informed and connected. Starting in Oklahoma and Dallas, our goal is to grow into a national network of support, one family at a time.

Holidays with Heart 2026
We are currently accepting donations for our annual Holidays with Heart fundraiser online auction.
All proceeds from the auction help us provide Sparkle Strong CICU Survival Kits, Sibling Kits and Jewels Joyboxes to families navigating life in the CICU with their young heart warriors.

Our Mission
The Sparkle Strong Foundation supports children facing extended stays in the pediatric cardiac ICU and their families by easing emotional and financial burdens through care packages, essential resources and heartfelt connection. Built on lived experience, we exist to bring comfort, encouragement and dignity to families navigating the challenges of medical life in the CICU.
